Same tracker, an app that gets you. If you already use an ICAR or Gooxota IK122T with the original app or another one, switching takes one SMS: enter the tracker’s number in DogTracker, send the prepared message, restart the tracker, and within a minute or two it checks in with our server. All in your language, with group hunts and movement history.

Ten things you actually use

Live map
Satellite imagery, all your dogs and how far they are from you. Positions arrive on their own, and each dog leaves a trail even without LIVE. When you set off after a dog, LIVE reports every 5 seconds and shuts itself off after 30 minutes — or runs until you stop it, your choice.
Hunt with your crew
Every hunter’s dogs on the same map; you share your own location only if you want to. “Same as last time” sets up a new hunt with the same dogs and hunters in one tap.
Tracker status
Online, Offline, no GPS or not sending location, with the battery. In the bell: low battery, tracker not reporting, and “Someone is holding the tracker button” when the lock is on.
Chase and barking
As soon as a dog starts chasing, the map shows “CHASE 14 MIN” next to it, and “BARKING IN PLACE” when it keeps barking in one spot — you and the hunt members see it. If barking in place goes on longer than you set, you get a notification. Works on the IK122T Pro and IK122M Pro once you turn on bark detection in the app.
Hunt replay
A finished hunt on one map: every dog’s track from entering to leaving the hunting ground, played back like a film, with chases and barking. Below, how far each dog ran and how long it chased; the Statistics tab compares every dog, live while the hunt is on.
History and statistics
Every day played back like a film, with chases, barking and car rides; export to GPX or KML. Statistics over 7 or 30 days, the season or all time — car rides don’t count.
My trail
Your phone records your own trail too, hunt or no hunt: on foot, driving and stationary kept apart, kilometers and ascent, a calendar with marked days. The trail stays on your phone only.
Place markers
Stands, crossings, feeders, salt licks — ten kinds, even with no signal. “Guide me” takes you to a marker with an arrow, and you can send it to another hunter, by message or as GPX.
Tracker commands
Light and sound from your phone; vibration on the IK122T Pro. With the power-off lock on, the tracker’s button will not switch it off.
In your language
Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, English, German, French and Italian. Support replies in English, Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian.

Real screens, not drawings

Live map

Your dogs on satellite imagery, each with its name and distance from you if you switch that on; the selected dog’s battery, speed and heading sit at the top. On an IK122T Pro or IK122M Pro with bark detection, a dog that is chasing also shows how long it has been at it — “CHASE 14 MIN”, for example. With LIVE on, the position refreshes every five seconds.

Three steps, once

STEP 01
SIM into the tracker

The tracker takes its own SIM card, like a phone. The cheapest plan is enough, but the card must have mobile data and no PIN — the tracker has no keypad to type one.
STEP 02
One text message

Enter the number printed on the tracker, send the message the app has already written and restart the tracker. In a minute or two it reports in by itself.
STEP 03
Name the dog, done

Say whose tracker it is and that is it. Next time you just open it and watch.

The tracker gets a fix from the satellites — the same system your car navigation uses.
The network carries it over the tracker’s own SIM — a few dozen bytes, which is why the cheapest plan is enough.
Your phone shows it on the map straight away, with no refreshing and no waiting.

Where there is no mobile coverage there is no reporting — nobody honest will tell you otherwise. The moment the tracker has signal again, its last position lands on the map.

Where to buy a tracker

DogTracker does not sell trackers. The app works with one you buy yourself — here is what to look for.

Which model
IK122T or IK122T Pro. The Pro adds vibration for training and reports barking; both have tracking, light and sound. Ask for the 4G version — 2G networks are being switched off across Europe.
Where
From the official ICAR shop at icargps.com (delivery takes 2–4 weeks), or from sellers in the region: hunting shops and classifieds such as OLX.ba, Njuškalo and KupujemProdajem. The same device is also sold under the Gooxota name.
SIM card
A nano SIM with the PIN turned off and mobile data on. The cheapest prepaid plan from any operator will do — the tracker uses about 30 MB a month.

The questions that come first

Which trackers are supported?

ICAR IK122T, IK122T Pro, IK122M Pro and the older IK122 Pro. The IK122T Pro also has vibration and reports barking; the IK122M Pro reports barking but has no vibration. The older IK122 Pro has the locate sound and the power-off lock, but no vibration, light, training sound or bark detection; you can tell it by its ID number, which starts with 470.

What is the difference between the IK122T and the IK122T Pro?

The Pro has vibration for training and reports barking: once you turn on bark detection in the app, the map shows when the dog is barking, and barking in place also sends you a notification. Tracking, light, sound and the power-off lock are on both.

Where can I buy a tracker?

DogTracker does not sell trackers. Look for the ICAR IK122T or IK122T Pro in the 4G version — from the official ICAR shop (icargps.com) or from sellers in the region: hunting shops and classifieds (OLX.ba, Njuškalo, KupujemProdajem). I have an ICAR tracker and the original app or another one — can I switch?

Yes. It works just like setting up a new tracker: enter the tracker’s number in DogTracker, send the prepared SMS and restart the tracker; within a minute or two it checks in with our server. From then on your previous app no longer receives positions. To go back, you repeat the same step with the address of the server you are going back to. How to switch.

Does the tracker need a SIM card?

Yes, its own. The tracker sends its position over the mobile network, like a phone. The card needs mobile data and no PIN.

Does it work in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia?

Yes, with any operator. The tracker needs mobile coverage and your phone needs internet.

How long does the battery last?

It depends on how often it reports. The IK122T and IK122T Pro carry a 4000 mAh battery: up to 30 days on standby (reporting once an hour), around 15 days reporting every 5 minutes, and about 60 hours in the fast 10-second mode. LIVE (every 5 seconds) draws the most, but it shuts itself off after 30 minutes, so it cannot flatten the battery while you are not watching — unless you turn that off yourself in Settings.

What if the dog goes out of coverage?

You still see the last known position on the map and how old it is. The moment the tracker has network again, a new position arrives on its own.

Can anyone else see my dog?

Only if you invite them into a hunt. Outside a hunt your dogs are visible to you alone. You share your own location only if you explicitly turn it on.

What happens to my data?

We do not sell your app data and we do not use it for ads. Dog positions are kept for 60 days and deleted in monthly blocks, no later than 92 days after they were recorded. You can delete your account yourself in the app (Settings → Delete account) or by email request — how to delete your account. Details are in the privacy policy, which also explains how we measure visits to this website — only with your consent.

Is there an iPhone version?

It is coming soon. Until then DogTracker runs on Android — if you are on iPhone, write to support@dogtracker.app and we will tell you the moment it lands.

How much does the app cost?

It is free. If that changes, we will let you know at least 60 days in advance.
